Bajaj Auto has launched its latest electric scooter, the Chetak 3001, at an introductory price of ₹99,990 (ex-showroom). Building on the popularity of the Chetak 2903 and the 35 Series platform, the new Chetak 3001 brings a fresh EV architecture, enhanced practicality, and improved ride dynamics.

What’s New in the Chetak 3001?

This new electric scooter features a floorboard-mounted 3.0 kWh battery, a smart move that not only lowers the centre of gravity for better stability but also opens up more usable space. The result? A spacious floorboard and an impressive 35-litre underseat storage, making it one of the most practical options in its segment.

Range, Charging & Tech

With a certified range of 127 km, the Chetak 3001 is ideal for both daily commutes and quick weekend getaways. It comes with a 750W charger that can power the battery from 0 to 80% in just 3 hours and 50 minutes — one of the quickest in the category.

Buyers can also opt for the TecPac technology suite, which includes:

  • Call accept/reject
  • Music control
  • Guide-me-home lights
  • Hill-hold assist
  • Reverse mode with lighting
  • Auto-flashing stop lamp

Durable Build & Online Booking

True to the Chetak legacy, the 3001 is the only metal-bodied e-scooter in its class and comes with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. In a unique move to enhance accessibility, Bajaj will soon offer the Chetak 3001 for purchase on Amazon, enabling customers to book it online.

Strong Sales Momentum

The Chetak brand recently became India’s top-selling electric scooter in Q4 FY25, thanks to the success of the 35 Series (Chetak 3501 and 3502). With the Chetak 3001, Bajaj is all set to strengthen its leadership in the EV segment.
